Account Transfer: To ensure a safe and trusted ecosystem, we're introducing a new Account Transfer policy to require developers to use the official "Transfer ownership" workflow within the Play Console. If eligible, use this process to transfer your developer account. |

Contacts permissions: Developers must use the Android Contact Picker for apps that do not require broad contact access. This more secure, easy-to-integrate alternative minimizes data collection and improves user safety. |

Location permissions: To better protect user privacy, the location button is now the recommended minimum scope for apps requiring precise location. This update aligns with our sensitive permissions requirements and data minimization standards. |
